What I love best

What I love best are flowers. My favorite of course are roses (any color). They remind me of being in love. Each time I make sure to get a different color, but I can do roses all the time. Everyday I just walk past my flowers and think of beauty, feminine, color, lavish, decor, style, and just nature. I buy them anywhere. Favorite two places so far are trader joes and flower market downtown LA. I do all of them myself. Still learning. Note to self.....Next library book bouquet making for dummies.

Simple

Went a few places with my two daughters yesterday. I realized that the most simple places are relaxing, amazing, and exciting. We took a walk to the park and the library. My one year old loved the park of course and my oldest got great books from the library. Excellent books on how to paint. It was great weather and we capped the day with relaxing at the pool. The one year old missed out on that part. But the whole day felt calm and simple.

Diva in me

 The ego is never satisfied and after looking at a few blogs and I am on a new hunt to get a great hat (I am late should have got it last year) and glitter shoes. The glitter shoes (heels of course) idea are from Zara and most likely just  a New Years special but after trying them on Ive decided to create a new fashion goal of getting a pair. Also I want a great hat. More like this hat here. I picture black or gray with my red lips and big hair of course. The Diva me. Sketch of the day#4

Our Annual Outing

Went to our cousin's bday party. Well part of the party, we could not make the party bus or the lounge but we went to the dinner. And that was a big deal for us. (remember we both have 3 kids)  I didn't realize until we got into the car that I didn't take a picture of Lloreen. And the dress was not wearing her she was wearing that dress. ok. Maybe it had something to do with our mental level. Refer to the next pic. Lets just say we got Geisha Wasted.

New Hat

I have a new I am lazy so here we go hat. I have a lot of necklaces, rings, (not that much into earrings) but not enough hats. So here is a Xmas gift my hubby got me. And I love it. I think I may want to get black and white. What do you think overkill?

Our New Years Eve

It was the perfect New Years Eve night. Cold but not too cold. First we ate at Maggiano's and ordered anything we wanted. I didn't wear glitter but the girls had glitter shoes to get into the spirit and Cash wore his best sweater. Then we took a walk around the Grove (in Los Angeles). We rode the trolley, window shopped literally because most of the stores were closed, and stopped at a candy kiosk and got all our favorite candy. I usually go for chocolate and sour. We capped the night with a countdown from YouTube from 2011 and had apple cider. Our night ended at 10pm. Ndey made confetti and I kissed everyone. I hope that marked the feeling of the rest of my year to come.

Hair Length

Many people who know me know that I change my hair A LOT. However I have been consistent with wearing my hair natural. This is me Thanksgiving 2011. I put this up because this is right before I put in my weave. (You gasp) Yes I said weave, however it is not your basic Beyonce weave, No its more of your Tracie Ellis Ross weave (google if you do not know who she is). It looks exactly like my hair except two inches longer. (my hair stretched) In one more month we will see if protective hair styles really do work for my type of hair.

New years

I have decided to start a blog that just doesn't have to deal with fashion. I mean a stay at home mother of three it just does not fit into the budget. Life overall does. So here we go.
